Tiph graduated from the American University Washington College of Law in 2015 where he participated in the Moot Court Honor Society, the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Program, and was President of the Student Bar Association. While in law school, he worked at the Office of Government Ethics, Department of Education, and Burns, White & Hickton in Pittsburgh, PA.

He started his legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Stacy W. McCormack in Anne Arundel County, MD. In 2017, he joined the Board of Veterans’ Appeals as a Veterans’ benefits attorney where he helped grant several hundred cases on appeal for benefits. After the Board, he worked for private firms where he won dozens of cases for Veterans on appeal to the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Tiph joined Jackson & MacNichol in June 2021 where he continues to work hard to benefit those who served our country.

A native of Pittsburgh, Tiph has lived in Washington, DC for the majority of the last decade. He spends a lot of time cooking, playing sports, and reading science fiction.
